The Missouri Tigers will have a chance for revenge when they make their appearance in the Sweet 16 Thursday. They’ll face UCLA in San Jose, California, with a chance to become the 1st number-12 seed to make it to the Elite Eight. UCLA knocked off Mizzou on a much-replayed last-second shot by Tyus Edney in 1995, on its way to the national title. UCLA reached the Sweet 16 by knocking off number-1 seed Cincinnati Sunday. The Tigers rolled into the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament with a lopsided victory over Ohio State Saturday, 83-67. Mizzou outrebounded Ohio State 48-26, led by Ricky Paulding’s nine boards. Paulding also scored 20 points to lead the scoring.
