St. Louis Circuit Attorney Wants To Meet With Archbishop

March 15, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce says she wants to meet with Archbishop Justin Rigali to ensure the Roman Catholic Church will cooperate with the investigation into alleged child abuse by priests. Joyce has said she’s disturbed by reports that the church paid victims for silence. Since the Archdiocese of St. Louis has removed two priests because of allegations of child sexual abuse, others have come forward with allegations against other priests.
