March 15, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Holden has signed an executive order creating the Missouri Business Education Roundtable. It’s a 40-member body set up to study and recommend solutions for the issues facing the state’s public schools. The panel is made up of lawmakers, educators, community leaders, and members of the business community. Among the issues to be addressed: the effectiveness of current policies and programs for the recruitment and retention of qualified teachers. The Governor expects results within a few months.
