Conceal And Carry Moves Forward In House

March 14, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

A measure that would allow Missourians to carry concealed weapons in their cars passes a hurdle in the House, surviving attempts by opponents to gut the bill. Sponsor Wayne Crump of Potosi argues against one such attempt, telling the sponsor of an amendment to make the gun owner reponsible should a minor get ahold of the weapon that she’s off base. The House rejected the amendment. It gave the bill preliminary approval. Another favorable vote sends the bill to the Senate.
