Congressman Richard Gephardt is criticizing President Bush’s plan to shop nuclear wastes to Nevada as “bad for the country, bad for Missouri.” He says nuclear wastes should be left where they are — at the sites of the nuclear plants that produce them. Gephardt says Congress can stop the administration’s plan by refusing to appropraite money for it.
