Senators Consider Waiting Period For Abortions

A bill mandating a 24-hour waiting period for having an abortion has been heard by a Senate committee. The bill also requires that doctors inform women about the abortion procedure. Missouri Right to Life supports the bill. But Planned Parenthood wonders about the motivation behind the bill. Planned Parenthood insists it fully informs women about the procedure before moving forward.
