Driver’s License Test Takers Likely To Fail

February 21, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Maybe people should read the little book a little more before they take the state’s written test for a driver’s license. For the last three years, 53 to 55 percent of the people who’ve taken the written test flunked. Officials think one factor might be the lack of driver educationcourses in the schools. It’s not required here and only about one-third of the school districts offer it. In Illinois, where it is required in schools, only eightpercent of those taking written tests last year failed.
