Chiefs Ink Patton To New Deal

February 19, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Kansas City Chiefs did not have anyone selected during yesterday’s expansion draft. In fact, they re-signed linebacker Marvcus Patton to a new six-year contract. Patton started all 16 games for the Chiefs in 2001, finishing second on the team with 138 tackles. Patton has spent the last three years in K.C., starting 46 of the 48 games he has played in.
