Tigers Fall Short Against Texas

The Missouri Tigers rallied over the final twenty minutes, but they could not quite make it all the way back from a ten-point halftime deficit as they dropped a 72-70 decision to Texas at the Hearnes Center. The Tigers committed 22 turnovers and shot just 38% from the field in the loss. Rickey Paulding and Kareem Rush led Missouri with 16 points each. Arthur Johnson added 14 points and nine rebounds. Deginald Erskin and T.J. Ford paced Texas with 18 points each while Ford added a game high 12 assists. The loss drops Missouri to 18-8 on the season, they are now 7-5 in the Big 12. Texas is 17-8 overall and 8-4 in the conference.
