The UMKC Kangaroos have dropped four of five after losing to Valparaiso last night 76-63 at Municipal Auditorium. The Kangaroos lose despite a brilliant effort from guard Michael Watson. The sophomore scored 34 points on 13 of 29 shooting. He was 6 of 13 from behind the arc. UMKC was right in this game until a six-minute span late in the second half when they did not score a point. With the defeat, UMKC falls to 13-10 on the seaso. Afterwards, head coach Rich Zvosec spoke with reporters about the loss.
