A Wildwood man who thought he was going to perform sex acts with a drugged four-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit forcible rape and sodomy. Actually, there was no four-year-old girl. But there were police detectives waiting when Richard Carter arrived at the apartment in Maplewood where the encounter was to have taken place. Officers say they were tipped off by a prostutute who became an informer when Carter told her about his desire for relations with a young girl. Carter has been sentenced to ten years in prison.
