SEMO Hoping For Big Finish

February 12, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Southeast Missouri State Indians have struggled this season to the tune of a 4-19 overall record; they are now 2-10 in the OVC. On Thursday the Indians will host Tennessee-Martin in a big Ohio Valley Conference match-up. SEMO needs to win at least one of their remaining four games to qualify for the OVC Tournament. Currently the Indians are ninth in the conference and only the top eight teams qualify for the tourney. Matt Leon spoke with Indians head coach Gary Garner recently about Thursday’s game and his team’s prospects for the rest of the season.
