The Southwest Missouri State Lady Bears took care of Southern Illinois on Sunday in Carbondale 69-57. The Lady Bears put this one away early, running out to a 35-19 halftime lead. Erica Vicente led the way for SMS with 16 points, nine assists and four steals. Jennifer Lingor chipped in with a dozen points. With the win, SMS improves to 12-9 on the season overall. They are 8-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
