The UMKC Kangaroos slipped past IUPUI 55-54 last night in Mid-Continent Conference action. Michael Jackson’s layup with ten second left gave the ‘Roos the lead for good. He finished with a team-high 15 points, Michael Watson added 14. UMKC won despite shooting just 30% from the field but they did force 19 turnovers to help make up for it. With the win, UMKC improves to 13-8 on the season (4-5 in the Mid-Con).
