National Letter of Intent Day is in the books and the University of Missouri used the occasion to announce the signings of 22 college football athletes. Seven of the 22 players in this year’s recruiting class hail from the state of Missouri including the two crown jewels. Dedrick Harrington is a WR/S from Mexico who caught 75 passes for nearly 1500 yards during his high school career. He is expected to play defensive back for the Tigers however. Jackson, Missouri product Mario Whitney rushed for more then 5,000 yards during his time in high school. He averaged 9.3 yards per carry. Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel spoke with reporters on “Signing Day” to talk about the newest Tigers.
