A steel processor based in Town and Country has filed for bankruptcy protection, and blames Enron for part of its financial problems. Huntco, which has one of its plants in Strafford, says it owes creditors $90-million, and probably won’t be able to pay all of that. The company plans to liquidate and says shareholders should expect nothing. Huntco had a contract with Enron to supply steel coils. And, when Enron failed, Huntco was left without a source for the coils.
