Bears Rally Falls Short Against Creighton

Southwest Missouri State lost at Creighton in mens action last night 80-74 despite 23 points each from Scott Brakebill and Terrance McGee. SMS actually trailed this one by 20 points but they rallied in the second half only to fall short. Bears played without senior guard Robert Yanders in this one. He was suspended for the game by head coach Barry Hinson for disciplinary reasons. SMS falls to 10-12 on the season. They are now 5-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Creighton improves to 14-5 and 9-1.
