Missouri Officials Prepare For Visit To Ford

The passenger list is being put together for Friday’s trip to Dearborn, Michigan, by Missouri officials. Ford Motor Company has set aside an hour for a meeting with the Missouri delegation looking for answers about Ford’s proposal to close its Hazelwood manufacturing plant. House Minority Leader Richard Gepardt and Senator Jean Carnahan will join Governor Bob Holden for the trip. Others in the party include the state Economic Development Director Joe Driskill, the St. Louis County Executive and several mayors.
