Paul Kariya’s goal at the 17:28 mark of the second period proved to be the only one the Anaheim Mighty Ducks would get or need as they shutout the Blues 1-0 in St. Louis last night. After that ten game winning streak, the Blues have now dropped three in a row. Last night they could manage just 15 shots on goal and Anaheim goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere was equal to everyone of them. The shuout was the seventh of his career. Fred Brathwaite played well between the pipes for St. Louis, making 17 saves, but he takes the loss.
