House Republicans plan to push election reform again this year, even though their biggest weapon in the fight won’t be able to personally lobby lawmakers at the Capitol.House Republicans have focused on three main priorities this year: one being election reform. One problem facing the GOP though is that the Secretary of State isn’there. Ideas such as provisional voting, requiring identification at the polls, subpoena powers for the Secretary of State and increased election law enforcement power for the Attorney General.
