Ethics Commission Approves New Campaign Contribution Limits

The Missouri Ethics Commission has approved new political contribution limits for individuals. Contribution limits from individuals for governor,lieutenant governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, and attorney general are up to $1,175. They’re up to $575 for state senator and up to $300 for state representative. Contribution limits vary for countyand local offices. As for party contribution limits – they vary according to the office, and the population of the district in which the election is being contested. They range from $2,925 to $11,750.
