Warner Misses Wednesday Practice

January 17, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The St. Louis Rams will practice again today in preparation for Sunday’s NFC Divisional Playoff game with Green Bay. Quarterback Kurt Warner is expected to take part in today’s workout after missing yesterday’s practice with the stomach flu. You know Warner will want to play well on Sunday. The Packers signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa back in 1994 — but he was cut in mid-August before even throwing a pass in a preseason game. The other quarterbacks on the Packer roster at that time were some guy named Brett Favre, Mark Brunell and Ty Detmer.
