Faulk Named Player of Year

St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk, who finished second to teammate Kurt Warner in the NFL’s MVP voting, yesterday was named the Player of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club. Faulk beat out Warner in this vote 350 to 190 following a season which saw him compile 2,147 total yards from scrimmage and score 21 touchdowns. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart finished third in the voting.
