Convicted Killer Executed In Potosi

Convicted murderer James Johnson, who was convicted in the December, 1991, shooting deaths of four people in Moniteau County, has been executed by lethal injection at the prison in Potosi. Johnson went on a shooting rampage a decade ago in and around California, killing three law enforcement officers and the wife of an officer. In his final statement, Johnson expressed remorse for what he had done. He was pronounced dead at 12:06 this morning.
