Missourians’ Red Cross Donations Now Going To Intended Destination

December 28, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Missourians’ donations to the American Red Cross for the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks will go to actual relief. Officials with the Red Cross say a total of $667-Million has been raised to help victims of the terrorism. The organization ran into some controversy earlier this year when it was announced some of the donations might be held back for other purposes. But that policy was reversed, and now officials say all the money will go to the September 11th relief efforts. Missourians raised more than $14-Million for the cause.
