St. Louis Rams defensive end Grant Wistrom has been named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week. In Monday’s win over New Orleans, Wistrom sacked Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks three and a half times and intercepted him once. It is the first time in his career that he has earned this honor. He is the fourth Ram this season to be so recognized, joining QB Kurt Warner, LB London Fletcher and CB Aeneas Williams.
