The Missouri Gaming Commission has destroyed 26 illegal slot machines taken from businesses throughout the state. Unlike most actions of this kind, this destruction was a public showing. Commission officials, joined by State Highway Patrol Officers, loaded the illegal machines into a garbage truck in Jefferson City to demonstrate what becomes of illegal gambling items. The devices were seizedduring inspections of licensed bingo operations in Butler, Iron, St. Francois, and Warren Counties.
