Blues Doubled Up In Philadelphia

December 19, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

It was a rough night in the City of Brotherly Love for the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday as they were hammered by Philadelphia 6-3. Six different Flyers lit the lamp in this one. The game was tied at three after two periods, but Philly outscored the Blues 3-0 over the final twenty minutes with Chris Therien scoring the go-ahead goal at the 9:53 mark of the third. Keith Tkachuk had a pair of assists in the loss for St. Louis while Brent Johnson made 23 saves between the pipes.
