Holden Announces New Proposal To Improve Education

December 18, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Bob Holden has announced a new proposal aimed at improving Missouri’s public schools. The plan calls for focusing spending on underperforming schools and demanding greater accountability from teachers, administrators, students and parents. The plan could mean testing for some teachers and principals, and students who score poorly on the Missouri Assessment Program tests will have to be re-tested until they show improvement.
