Blues Settle For Tie

December 13, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Keith Tkachuk scored 3:10 into the third period to help earn the St. Louis Blues a 2-2 tie in Chicago last night. The Blues remain three points behind second-place Chicago in the Central Division. Jamal Mayers scored the other St. Louis goal. The Blues had to play from behind right away in this one as Eric Daze scored Chicago’s first goal on their first shot, just 1:12 into the game. Fred Brathwaite played well after that between the pipes for the Blues, stopping 19 of the next 20 shots he faced. St. Louis hosts Toronto tonight.
