Missourians called to active military duty are eligible for some free legal help. The National Guard’s Judge Advocate usually provides legal advice for soldiers called up, but the increased numbers since September 11th could lead to heavy service. so, about 100 members of the Missouri Bar have volunteered their services. Judge Advocate Marty Robinson, who is the state public defender in civilian life, says families are also eligible for help under some circumstances.
