The MIAA has named its players of the week in men’s and women’s basketball. Brian Westre earns the men’s honor. The Missouri-Rolla center averaged 22 points and 11.5 rebounds in two games last week for the Miners. Missouri-Rolla split those two games. In women’s action, Missouri Southern forward Jacquie Rzeszut is lauded for scoring 29 points in Southern’s only game of the week, a 66-60 win at Lindenwood (Mo.).
