November 9, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Pavol Demitra scored a pair of goals while Al Macinnis added a goal and an assist as the St. Louis Blues won for the fourth time in five games, 3-1 over the visiting Vancouver Canucks. Fred Brathwaite made 22 saves between the pipes to earn the win. St. Louis trailed 1-0 after the first period, but Demitra and Macinnis scored in the second to give the Blues the lead and then Demitra iced the game in the third period with his second tally. St. Louis is now 8-4-3 on the season, seven points out of first in the Central Division. Photo by Bill Greenblatt, UPI.
