November 7, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The San Jose Sharks put an abrupt end to the St. Louis Blues three-game winning streak last night, picking up a relatively easy 4-1 win. Four different Sharks scored with Gary Suter adding a pair of assists. The Blues did not get on the scoreboard in this one until halfway through the third period when Scott Young lit the lamp. The Blues struggled on the power play in this one, going just 1 for 7 with the man advantage. St. Louis loses despite outshooting the Sharks 32-23. Brent Johnson made 19 saves between the pipes in defeat for the Blues.
