The Big 12 preseason media poll was released yesterday and to no one’s surprise, Kansas and Missouri were ranked #1 and #2. Those two schools also occupy the top spot in the coaches poll. Missouri is coming off a 20-13 season which ended with second-round loss in the NCAA Tournament to Duke. Tiger swingman Kareem Rush has been named the Big 12 preseason player of the year. Rush averaged 21.1 points a game last season.
