Ex-MU Football Player Confesses to Drug Charge

A University of Missouri football player has pleaded guilty to running marijuana from Texas to Missouri. 23-year-old Brandon Paul Ford of Columbia pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana during an apperance before a federal judge in Jefferson City. Ford also has agreed to forfeit nearly $22,000 in drug trafficking funds to the federal government. Ford, formerly of Garveston, Texas, played tight-end for the Tigers between 1998 and 2000.
