Colonel A. J. Briding, the commander of the Air Force ROTC Unit at the University of Missouri-Columbia, says immediately after the September 11th attacks and just after the air war over Afghanistan started, cadets and staff were told not to wear their uniforms. It was thought they could become targets of terrorists. But Briding says the students are back to wearing the blue. And Briding believes the events have brought more focus into the cadets training.
