Bush To Campaign On Behalf Of Talent

October 11, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Jim Talent is going to get some help from the top of the party as he campaigns for the seat held by Senator Jean Carnahan. The Talent For Senate Committee tells the Missourinet President Bush has called Talent to congratulate the former St. Louis area Congressman on the decision to run, and has promised to visit Missouri to campaign on behalf of Talent. That visit might be some time off. Talent is alone in the race, as his likely Democrat opponent – Senator Carnahan – has yet to announce whether she’ll be a candidate.
