The MIAA has announced its players of the week. On offense the honor goes to Northwest Missouri State quarterback John McMenamin after he threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns in the Bearcats 38-3 win at Missouri Southern. On defense, Truman State safety Derek Kent gets recognized after amassing 19 tackles in the Bulldogs 27-26 win at Washburn. Kent also blocked a key extra point in the win.
