October 8, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

After rolling up 45 points and more then 500 yards of offense in that win last week over Washington, the Kansas City Chiefs were held to two field goals in a 20-6 loss in Denver on Sunday. Trent Green completed 25 of his 40 throws for 283 yards and four interceptions in defeat. All four of the interceptions were by Deltha O’Neal, who tied an NFL record in the process. Denver was led by 155 yards rushing from Mike Anderson, he scored the first touchdown for the Broncos on a 62-yard run.
