Chiefs Finally Say Good-Bye To Williams

October 4, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The Kansas City Chiefs yesterday released veteran defensive tackle Dan Williams from there physically-unable-to-perform list. Williams had been struggling with a foot problem and had not seen any action this season for Kansas City. In three seasons with the Chiefs, Williams played in 41 games, starting 24. In a related story, the Chiefs signed defensive tackle Nate Hobgood-Chittick to a two year deal. Hobgood-Chittick had been with the Chiefs during training camp.
