Missouri Group Offers Different View On Terrorism

September 26, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Many Americans are waiting for the U.S. to respond to the terrorist attacks on America by killing Osama bin Laden and his follwers. But the Mid-Missouri Fellowship of Reconciliation, which bills itself as an inter-denominational pacifist group opposing all forms of violence, wants to eliminate a military response as an option. The group says the U.S. must search for the reasons behind the terrorism: why the U.S. is targeted – and take steps to prevent future attacks. The organization believes the United States would be sending the wrong message to the world by responding to violence with bloodshed of its own.
