Carnahan Looks For Help For Airline Employees

Help might soon be on the way for thousands of airline industry employees who were laid-off following the terrorist attacks. Senator Jean Carnahan is trying to put together a financial package that will provide temporary assistance to those employees who are now out of work. She believes Capitol Hill lawmakers will enthusiastically support the proposal, which she says will likely come with a price tag of about $2.5-billion.
