Legislature Wraps Up Special Session

The special session of the State Legislature has come to a close with the House and Senate reaching agreement on all three issues given to lawmakers by Governor Holden. Lawmakers have come to an agreement on a prescription drug plan for senior citizens, an agreement will exempt Missourians from having to pay state taxes on their federal tax rebates, and a deal has been reached to make changes to the controversial Livestock Marketing Law.
