Capitol Hill lawmakers have passed a resolution calling on Americans to demonstrate their unity in the wake of this week’s terrorism. The resolution was authored by Southeast Missouri Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson and co-sponsored by West-Central Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton. It encourages Americans to fly Old Glory at homes, businesses, schools, and places of worship for the next thirty days.
