Legislature Moves Closer To Passing Tax Exemption Law

The State Senate and House are moving closer to agreeing to legislation that would exempt Missouri taxpayers from having to pay state income tax on their federal tax rebates. The House Ways and Means Committee has sent a bill to the House as a whole. Meanwhile, a Senate committee has approved its version of the bill and is close to approving it and sending it to the House.
