Truck Driver Not High After All

August 30, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is updating the information on Sunday’s fatal traffic crash in Saline County in which five people were killed when a tractor-trailer truck collided with another vehicle on Interstate 70. Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall had initially told the Patrol that druck driver John Kendrix, who survived the crash, was under the influence of three different illegal drugs. The hospitalhas now contacted the Patrol to say that report was in error. In addition, the Patrol’s Criminal Laboratory Division has since conducted drug analysis tests on the driver’s blood and urine samples and they indicate no presence of illegal drugs.
