Still More Trouble For K.C. Pharmacist

August 25, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Things are not getting any better for Kansas City pharmacist Robert Courtney, who’s accused of diluting cancer-fighting drugs. A judge has issued an order allowing the federal government to seize Courtney’s assets contained in two safety deposit boxes at FirStar Bank. No word on how many boxes are involved or what’s inside the boxes. The order also bars creditors or potential creditors from placing a claim against Courtney’s business assets. That will make it easier to sell the business. Courtney is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on 20-counts of watering-down the drugs for profit.
