The St. Louis Cardinals won their sixth straight game last night, hammering the Cincinnati Reds 7-1. The win moves the Redbirds to within four games of first place in the National League Central. Matt Morris was the hero last night, the righthander went the distance on a four-hitter to improve to 15-7. Morris lost his shutout in the ninth when he hit Aaron Boone with the bases loaded. At the plate, Mike Matheny and Craig Paquette homered in the victory. Same two teams tonight in St. Louis.
