Darryl Kile allowed just a run on three hits in improving to 13-7 on the season as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets 4-1 on Sunday, completing a three game weekend sweep. The Cardinals scored three times in the first inning as Mark McGwire powered a two-run homer and Albert Pujols followed with solo shot. The Cardinals complete a 5-1 road trip and move to within five games of first place in the National League Central.
